The ski area of Sainte Foy has set up 3 marked, secured, and ungroomed ski slopes: Natur’Crystal Dark, Natur’Morion, and Natur’Shaper Paradise. Perfect for a vigorous warm-up or for safely venturing into freeriding, these wild skiing zones will undoubtedly provide feelings of freedom and thrills to those who dare to slide down their slopes blanketed in a thick layer of snow.
The golden rules of off-piste skiing apply here as well. Always go out with at least one or two friends; as the saying goes: the more the merrier! And remember to equip yourself with safety gear.
1. Natur'Crystal Dark
Descending the Aiguille slope, just before passing under the chairlift, you have the option to veer left onto the ungroomed Natur’Crystal Dark area, which stretches along a wild slope of the Aiguille. Test your freeriding skills on this descent that is both technical and refreshing, offering views of the stunning landscapes surrounding Sainte Foy.
2. Natur'Morion
Setting off from the top of the Aiguille pass, Natur’Morion will give you the feeling of being a professional freerider, with pure thrills guaranteed as you hurtle down the steep slopes of this Natur’Riding zone. Don’t forget to take a moment to catch your breath, and especially, to admire the magnificent chutes that overlook the valley.
3. Natur'Shaper Paradise
In the middle of the Plan de Veaux slope, head hard left to enter the Natur’Shaper Paradise zone. Start gently in this Natur’Riding area, then experience strong emotions as you fly over the contours of this ungroomed slope, an ideal playground for trying out backcountry freestyle, a hybrid discipline that merges freestyle and freeriding.
